Jeanne Batcheller is the advisor/contributor for BabyJoy.us website. Jeanne has 30 years of nursing experience including 20 years as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner. After working many years as a labor and delivery hospital staff and charge nurse and prenatal/childbirth educator, Jeanne also gained experience in Pediatrics and then in an Eating Disorders in-hospital treatment unit.

Jeanne then continued her education and graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School’s Advanced Nurse Practitioner Program. She has many years of OB/GYN clinic experience. In 20 years as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, Jeanne has examined, treated, and educated countless women regarding their health, disease prevention and treatment, contraception, family planning, preconception and pregnancy.

Jeanne has always had a passion to care for women and children. Besides years of being a nurse and nurse practitioner, she has raised 3 wonderful young men and is currently raising 3 more energetic young sons (triplets!) with her husband Bob.
